From Hawaii to Paintbrush
Fresno is approximately 2,513 miles away from Honolulu. But that doesn’t mean these two very different cities don’t have something in common. Because recently, the Aloha State came to the Golden State, bringing Hawaii to Paintbrush for our second annual Hawaiian Luau.
Over 45 residents, friends, family members and neighbors were entertained by Polynesian dancers and thoroughly enjoyed the festive, tropical mood.
Most of all, they enjoyed Executive Chef Paul Palomino’s delicious island favorites, including Pork Cooked in Banana Leaf, Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken, Shrimp Stir-Fried Rice and Pickled Cucumber Salad with Crab Macaroni Salad.
This Hawaiian Luau is just one of the very enjoyable and distinctively different events hosted by Paintbrush throughout the year as part of our Life Enrichment activities. And one more reason why “Beautiful Living Begins Here”.
